Brief Answer:
reasons for diaphoresis in your son explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Your son seems to be in multiple problems; sorry about that.
One cause for diaphoresis while lying down could be due to the use of Fentanyl as it causes peripheral vasodilatation and excessive perspiration.
Any chronic inflammatory process would induce diaphoresis as well like Lupus, chronic pancreatitis and chronic inflammatory bowel disorders.
Aldactone is not known to cause diaphoresis.
Please let me know about your other specific queries that you would like to discuss here.
I would be interested to know about the reason for chronic pain and the reason for prescribing fentanyl and aldactone in him.

RA & his neurologist turned him over to pain man. , his curve in his spine has changed from a 37deg. to a 48 deg. curve & putting pressure on his heart & 2 lobes of lung on the left. He did this before he was placed on all the narcs he has had multiple surgeries ortho in nature. 7 on right foot at one time, bil. femoral osteotomies , fell over his dog at age 25 received a kick-boxser inj. & concussion had to have a VP shunt. Cervical spinal stenosis . no surgery can be done because of so many problems , & he has asked us not to allow any more procedures
Aldactone was given because his b/p was el.
He did this long before he went on meds. but it happened when he would walk????
Peripheral distrophy syndrom???????? was what I was told
Brief Answer:
yes, it could be peripheral dystrophy syndrome
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I am sorry about the multiple problems your son has undergone. Yes, all of these could have lead to peripheral dystrophy syndrome.
I agree that further surgeries or procedures should not be allowed in him. We should be concentrating on his pain management and improve the quality of his life.
Please continue all of his medications. Give him more water and fluids to drink so that he maintains the right water and electrolyte balance and does not have diaphoresis.
Wish him good health.
