But in the last cycle dose, i took Siphene tablet(3rd day to 7th day of Cycle)

Brief Answer:
WAIT ONE WEEK TO GET PERIOD NATURALLY.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

1) You did unprotected sex close to OVULATION or fertile days. However, you took emergency contraceptive pill within first 24 hrs which will give more than 95% protection against unwanted pregnancy. Here, chance of pregnancy is QUITE LOW and you get negative test recently.

2) Sudden withdrawing of DYDROGESTERONE tab is ALSO responsible for NOT getting period in time. Late period is MOSTLY due to hormonal imbalance and associated mental stress. I suggest you to wait another one week to get period naturally. You should take low carbohydrate diet, keep bowel habit regular, drink more water and avoid subsequent mental stress to get effective result.

3) If you don't get period after waiting one week, you must consult with your gynecologist and may need to repeat pregnancy test for confirmation. You may require progesterone pill (REGESTRONE) to induce period. Rest of the medicines should be continued as per treatment protocol of PCOD.

Hope, it will be helpful for your information. Kindly, close the discussion, if you don't have any other query.

Wish your good health and take care yourself.

Dr Soumen

Brief Answer:
WITHDRAWAL BLEEDING APPEARS WITHIN 7-10 DAYS.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for follow up query.

Most women get withdrawal bleeding like period within 7 to 10 days after taking emergency contraceptive pill.

Hormonal imbalance and late period are main DRAWBACK of emergency pill. You don't need to stop the DYDROGESTERONE pill.

You should wait one week to get period naturally and repeat pregnancy test before taking progesterone pill to induce period.

You must take LOW carbohydrate diet, do regular exercise to control body weight and avoid mental stress.

Hope, it helps for you. Kindly, close the discussion.

Good luck and all the best.

Regards,
Dr Soumen
