Brief Answer:
delayed menses

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
If your menses have been delayed by more than 7 days now, then you must get a urine pregnancy test done first to rule out pregnancy tomorrow first thing with the first morning urine sample.
If the test is negative then pregnancy is ruled out and delay can be safely attributed to stress induced hormonal imbalance during the month. There can be various stressors like physical, social, emotional , psychological during the cycle which can affect the hormones and delay the menses. So if negative then you must wait for another week for your menses to return naturally.
If still not then you may opt for a withdrawal bleed with progesterones to resume your menses.
