Question: HI Doctor, U can see my history in my previous queries. I went for a laproscopy for tubal block and it is cleared after that i got my periods after 45 days, that cycle we went to infertility treatment with the ecospirin,Folic acid,Glycomet and some HCG and egg release injection, i was advised to take miprogen200 from Day 15 to Day 28--As i my egg ruptured on Day 15, i got a very lite period on day 33and after 12 days ie on my 55th day i got my periods which lasted for 3-4 days ,again for that cycle we undergone fertility treatment with Following injection on day fertigen 3,5,7,9&11 with Wyslone along with regular tablets(which was prescribed in the last cycle), three eggs ruptured on day 13 & 14 and doctor has prescribed for Duphasthon along with the Miprogen and wysolone for 14 days, again on day 33 i got very lighter period, when we check also it came negative only, but after 12 days(55th day) again my period started and it is heavy this time--I didnt understnad my cycle--When we took harmone test all my harmone levels r correct as per Doctor,i was taking Elthroxine and thyroid is also in control and taking Elthroxine 50Mcg till now.
My Question is:
Why my period has not started on day 33 itself normally i will have 4 days of period?why there was a light period on day 33 and again a normal period on day 55?
Will Wyslone is making heavy periods?Due to 3 eggs ruptured i am getting heavy periods this time?
Why the same type of cycle is getting followed for the two cycles, what is the reason behind it
when i search in google it is showing perimenopause--is that true?i am just 29--Will i get menopause very early?
Am i able to get pregnant?

Please help me

Brief Answer:
This is not perimenopause

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply :

1) You have variations in cycle duration and flow pattern as you are on progesterone medicines. These are known to cause such variation.

2) Uncontrolled thyroid could be another reason. Have you checked thyroid levels recently?

3) Are you overweight or have PCOS ? That could be another reason for such cycles.

4) This is not perimenopausal state. Don't worry.

5) Excess egg rupture is not a reason for this.

I have no PCOS ,my weight is 63.5 and my height is 5.4--Hope i am maintaining my weight, i am going for 40 minutes walk daily in night, i cant go in the morning as i hv work, i am doing cycling also in alternate days, as well my thyroid level is normal as doctor, she said it is very much controlled and asked to continue the same.Doctor said that there should be no mediacation required for this coming cycle as last cycle egg inducing itself will help, she asked to take only Dupahston from Day 21 to Day27 alsong with folic acid, ecosprin and glycomet

Please reply in detailed manner

Brief Answer:
Unexplained infertility needs treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Your doctor is giving you right treatment.

1) Ovulation induction preferably with HMG injections is required. This will help in inducing more than one follicle which will increase chance of pregnancy.

2) Since you are already 29 years old, I dont think you should waste more time trying naturally. There is a condition called unexplained infertility where person cannot conceive though everything is normal.

3) I suggest you go ahead with IUI soon. The egg quality and quantity deteriorate with age in women.

4) If you dont conceive in next 3 cycles of IUI, go ahead with IVF.
