Brief Answer:
visual acuity, refraction to detect refractive error to be done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting your query at HealthcareMagic.

Continuous eye strain can be eye fatigue. It can be primarily refractive error, accommodation problem, squint, even general fatigue. So visual acuity is to be tested and refraction is to be done. If any spherical or cylindrical error is detected then it is to be corrected by specs. Ocular muscle function are to be tested to exclude squint. If there is accommodation problem then orthoptic exercises is recommended.Cover test to be done to detect phoria, if detected then suitable treatment can be recommended.Excessive computer work can give rise to computer vision syndrome, that is dry eye, eyestrain and corneal erosion. Anti glare specs and artificial tear drop is recommended.

Hope it helps
