What Causes Constant Tiredness Depsite Of Being On Synthroid?

Question: I had thyroid cancer in 1992 and the thyroid was removed. It took a long time to get my dosage regulated, but for the last 15 years or so I have take 250 mcg or 275 mcg. Now, last week, my doctor had lab work down and put me on 150 mcg. I was very surprised at the difference, particularly downward, and am afraid how I will feel. When I've been off the Synthroid before for tests (3 weeks), I was extremely tired in weeks 2 and 3. What's your opinion? Can these numbers be right? How will it affect me? My primary is not very forthcoming with the details. Thank you XXXXX XXXXXXX
