Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Headaches is common type of complaints everyone face time to time. But it usually is rare and triggered due to some cause.
But you are telling that it is there daily since 2 weeks and you have to take round the clock meds for it.
I feel that it is time you should investigate it further.
As your age is 40, first thing is I will advise you is get your eyes checked from opthalmologist. Refraction errors is common cause for headaches. So consult an opthalmologist for eye check up. If you are already using specs get it checked still to see if any change is there.
Second thing is get an CT brain and consult a neurologist for the same.
Daily headache over 2 weeks ahould not be overlooked.
I hope I have answered your query well. if you have any questions kindly ask me back will be happy to answer them.
Thank you
