Brief Answer:
What are your medications? And what are your blood pressure numbers?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this dizziness. Given the fact that you are on blood pressure medications, i will like to know the individual medications. Also, it is important to know what your blood pressure numbers were before starting treatment and now? I will also like to know whether you have had an EKG and a holter monitoring as an increased heart rate could be suggestive of a possible arrhythmia. Let me hear from you being providing more insights and definitive responses to this.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.

Dr. Ditah, my medication is metolazone 10 mg 1 a day. 133/88 before it was 155/102. I haven't had an EkG done yet but i'm being referred to an endocreonologist. I would like to have an idea of what could be wrong .

Brief Answer:
To investigate why you are having high blood pressure at your age!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

High blood pressure at your age is not normal and in most cases caused by a hormonal imbalance. A cause must be sought before being declared as essential. This is unlike what happens un adults where no secondary cause is often investigated before being treated as essential.
