Brief Answer:
see doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question
You could be having some brochoconstriction like patients have with asthma. It would be good to see a doctor and have some testing done. Prescription inhalers may be needed. It is unusual but people can develop asthma like symptoms at your age. Definitely avoid the mucinex since you had a bad reaction to that. Mucinex contains guaifenesin so I would not recommend using any product with that in it. Drink plenty of water and try to see a doctor as soon as possible to see if an inhaler would be helpful to you.
