Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
There are a few possible causes of symptoms of cold hands and feet. One very common cause is anxiety. This can sometimes cause restriction of blood flow to the hands and feet. Other possibilities include autoimmune disorders but these are commonly associated with more painful symptoms. If this is becoming bothersome or is causing you pain or discomfort you should talk about a week your primary physician who can perform a good physical examination and evaluation. If your doctor think you might need additional testing he can request that.

I don't think the metformin is contributing to the symptoms which are described.

I hope that you are otherwise working on a good well-balanced diet as well as daily exercise to maintain optimal weight. If not I would recommend talk about this with a physical therapist or nutritionist to help optimize your well-being.

Thanks again for sending her question. Please let us know if you have additional concerns in the future.
