Brief Answer:
impacted wax or eustachian tube dysfunction- needs evaluation.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having clogged ear. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any running nose (cold) ?
Is your clogged ear associated with throat pain ?

As per your clinical details, it appears to be Eustachian tube dysfunction or impacted wax secondary to common cold.

I suggest you to to consult ent surgeon and get detailed ent examination (cold, allergy, impacted wax), If necessary audiometry (to know the status of Eustachian tube (tube connecting the middle ear and nose) dysfunction. depending on the examination reports further treatment is required accordingly.

Mean time, do not attempt self cleaning, avoid water per ear during bath (cover with dry cotton plugs in ears).

If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
impacted cerumen (wax).

Detailed Answer:

Hello again,

Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.

Not associated with any cold or throat pain, no ear discharge , no dizziness confirms cerumen (wax). You may need wax solvents to liquify. Visit an ent surgeon for the prescription (wax solvents) and removal.

Hope, I have answered your query.

Take care.
