Question: My daughter has circular red rash in a spiral pattern on the top of her arm. Do you recognize it? I have a picture. Thank you!

Looks like a contact dermatitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi...this looks like an artificial pattern imprint. Usually these sort of lesions are seen when the person wears a material which might have had such material or metallic buttons on it. When the particular material is not suitable or allergic to the skin of the person wearing it, it results in contact dermatitis or inflammation of the skin in that particular pattern. This is what I think it is - Contact dermatitis.

The other option is an injury due to hot metallic knobs of that particular pattern. But it is unlikely as you would have wanted to know what it could be after ruling about known possibilities. Nevertheless it is my duty to put forth the possibilities I think of.
