What Causes Chest Pain, Weakness And Throat Pain?
Question: For the past one and a half month, I have been ailing from various discomfort like chest pain, weakness and recently throat pain. All the doctors I have been to diagnosed this to due to acid reflux. I have been taking rabeprazole for this duration as prescribed. Is there any side effects

Chest pain secondary to acid reflux (GERD) requires ppi inhibitors (rabiprazole) for 6-8 weeks. It is a safe drug (minimal side effects, not serious one) can be taken for weeks.
Go ahead, as per your treating doctor.
Some Don’ts
1. Avoid spicy diet.
2. Regular timing of meals, do not skip.
3. Stop smoking or alcohol (if you are with these habits).
4. Small frequent 6 meals, instead of large 3
5. Keep elevation with extra pillow (sleeping posture to prevent regurgitation of stomach contents).
6. Follow stress free life style.

I feel dizziness and giddy for the past two days. It's persistent throughout the day.Is it the side effect of the tablet or cos of acidity.it doesn't go even after consuming the tablet.
