it burns when i urinate, Also the haed of my penis is slightly red.
Ive tested negative for any and all STDS
I wne to another place for a 2nd test but results wont be back til end of week
there is NO discharge
Ive also started taking a ZPAK yesterday at 11 AM.

Im not feeling any relief yet.
If not STD what else can this be?
My wife keeps asking for sex and I keep making excuses not to.
What else can cause a urethritis
Im thinking of going to a urologist soon as well
Im not sure if I shoudl have sent this to a Urologist or to you..

please let me know who is better suited

Im REALLY hoping this is NOT a sex disease....and more of an infection from something else..
it started about 2 weeks ago I felt a slight burn when urinating...5 days later I went in for a test. They did urine and blood test.

over the weekend I was Very Dehydrated on the Golf Course as well as hung over and drinking Beer.
I felt like I was going to collapse.
The next morning when I peed. The pee was cloudy....but that was the only time it was cloudy

Ive been drinking lots of water ever since and havent had any alcohol.
But the Burning is still there...

Its been 24 hours since I started the Z pack

They did do a urine test and show NO sign a UTI.

THere also was oral sex from another woman at a bar who I did not know.

As I said...I was tested for EVERY std 9 days later...I started feeling a slight burn when I urinated and that started I think a few days after the above happened.

Could it be coincidence? If I was already feeling a symptom that "could" be Chlamydia. Wouldnt it show up in the STD testing?

Im very scared and my mind is going a million miles a minutes.

Im glad the test showed up negative. but Im not 100% sure I trust it...As I said it was 9 days after...and I was feeling a slight burn when I urinated..
The tip of my penis is slightly red and a little puffy...
I started the Zpack on Monday at 11AM....how soon should I start seeing it clear up based on that?

One last question. I think I realised early on that I had this problem.
I had burning urination as well as red and swollen tip.
NO discharge..

I started Zpack Antibiotics 48 hours ago. And I havent fealt any different. In fact Im starting to have slight clear discharge.

Do I need to let the symptoms get worse prior to starting antibiotics? Or should I be able to start them at any time during the symptoms?

Does that make sense?

Also..

"IF" I did NOT tell my wife. And I got checked my self twice a month.

Would I be able to tell if she got it that way?

Last time we had sex was almost the same time I tested Negative.

Maybe she didnt get it?

Ive got one more test result that Im eagerly awaiting the results of.
Im hoping it tests negative and maybe there is a slim chance that this is a result from something different.

Ive read that the chances of catching Chlamydia thru oral sex are very small..

One last question.
I sleep with the same pair of sleep shorts every night can these cause me to "RE" catch whatever it is that I have?
I plan to wash them tonight...Im almost 72 hours into treatment and most of the signs are gone.
Still just a minor burn when peeing..(might be imagined)
Also still slight redness on tip of penis..

does this sound normal for day 3 of treatment?

But Can I Re-Catch this if I sleep in the same shorts as I did last night?

I saw my urologist yesterday I told him I was given a shot of ROCEPHIN in the butt as well as azithromycin
He assured me that after 2-3 days the disease would be gone.

I am still feeling a little burning when I pee

Im assuming that the disease is gone and I am just not healed inside my urethra?

Is that a fair assumption?
