What Causes Burning Sensation While Urination?

Question: Hello! Since yestetdsy I am getting a buring sensation either while I pee or after I pee. I am a 20 year old male that drinks a lot of water. I was tested for STD in lncluding gonorrhea and it came out negative . I also noticed that after I masterbate this stinging sensation come back. What can this be?

Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted you have acute UTI.
Please get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1)Routine Urine test and urine culture to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

In the mean while start taking broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefexime twice daily along with urinary anti septic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Ensure to drink more water .This will help to keep the urine dilute and reduce dysuria.

The pain that you have after masturbation is due to inflamed urethra.

Ok! The last time I had sex with one mounth ago so i was wondering if it was Gonorrhea? How long after exposure will symptoms show up?
