What Causes Bumps On Penile Head Without Pain Or Itching?
Question: Doctors please i need help i have noticed small bumps on head of penis no pain itchiness or discharg .. No unprotected sex but very brief unprotected oral .. My anxiety over this is killing me ..i am goin to see a doctor tommorow but my anxiety is getting the best of me right now .. Please advise on what u think this is?

Doctor thank u i hope you are right here is another picture that maybe shows what my concerns are clearer.. Does your opinion stay the same after checking this one out .. i am so scared maybe i an over reacting and searching and finding normal variations ..but i am terrified.. Of herpes and warts.. Please advise your professional opinion on the chances of this being what i fear most

I could not find a trace of anything suggestive of either Herpes Genitalis or Warts.

Thank you doctor i dont know why my mind has been so focused on those two.. I got a full checkup done a few weeks ago and the doctor has not contacted me about my results yet which should be a good sign but what is found on an antobody test can herpes be detected through this blood test i feel like my worries are overcoming logic

Several of my patients undergo similar thought process and I feel they are genuinely concerned but lack knowledge and need to be educated.
I will tell you a little bit about antibodies and how they are related to Herpes.
Antibodies are the protein components that our body produces in response to infection or anything that it considers to be harmful. These are not a direct evidence of infection but just indicate the response which may be actually present or the body might have misunderstood to be present (identification failure).
When a person gets the infection for the first time, it takes more time for antibodies to be produced and reach an appreciable level while in subsequent instances the process is faster.
Therefore, presence of antibodies may or may not be a dependable indicator of infection but it definitely provides credibility to the doubt. This applies to Herpes infection too.

So in your experience .. i have not ever had unprotected sex but brief unprotected oral like less than a minute the persons hda no visible sores or anything .. is this exposure low enough that i should not be worrying as much as i am .. i have suffered from health anxiety in the past and feel like this is another episode .... My mind is fixated on the worst case and i cant get these thoughts out my head no matter how far fetched it is... it has been over a month since this regrettedencounter no classic symptoms except sensations throughout my body caused by my anxious thoughts ..

Again i dont know if this person was infected or not .. Jus my anxiety thinking they might have been... So in your opinion should i stop worrying about this and just move on with life considerin i have no symptoms. Also when you've ordered blood tests for a patient do u or other doctors always contact them whether negative or positive results
