What Causes Bubbles In Urine?
Kidney function tests, exclude infection and fast urination, see Dr
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,
I understand this could be very disturbing, especially if you just started experiencing this.
It is important to check your kidney function. Bubbles could imply proteins in urine, or at times crystals. Too many proteins in urine cause bubbles, and could indirectly indicate impaired kidney function. Doing simple kidney function tests like blood urea and creatinine levels and urine analysis could be very helpful.
At times, though with bubbles, with a good kidney function test, you need not worry. In case abundant proteins are seem in urine with an impaired kidney function test result, your GP could send you to a nephrologist for follow up.
It is not rare to see people with normal kidneys have bubbles in urine, but kidney function tests are imperative.
Urinating fast, urinary tract infections and some fistulas (in case of past history of surgery) could also explain bubbles seen in urine.
Thanks and kind regards as I wish you the best if health.
