Brief Answer:
Get xrays done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your query.

You have not given any history of fever, nightsweats, weightloss, trauma, so I am assuming it to be normal.

There are many reasons for all your symptoms so I advise you to get xray of both knees standing done in AP and Lateral view done and send me the report I want to see and compare present condition of your joint.

Till then do not squat and avoid upstairs.

Take diclofenac+thiocolchicoside by prescription of local doctor.

Apply hot packs for 30 mins in morning and evening.

I hope it helps.

Thanks.

Dr.Singh.

I did have a severe fall 5 months ago and had same symptoms in my elbow...which seems to have gone away. No injury to elbow or knee with the fall. Did have a grand mal sz from the fall a month after...no obvious injury to either joint. one sz only. Also been having gout attackers in my big toe r side.., but uric acid levels are normal...knee & elbow are on r too...I am left handed.

Brief Answer:
Get uric acid levels checked.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the response.

Even though your uric acid were normal previously, it is seen that some times joint pains occur even with slight variation in some patients.

So get your morning serum uric acid levels, E.S.R, C.R.P levels checked and send me the report.

In addition to previous advises, you should try to avoid high protein diet, non veg , alcohol as much as you can.

Further health queries are welcomed.

I hope it helps.

Thanks.

Dr.Singh.
