HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is likely that your symptoms are related to the common cold virus .

Some persons may also have these symptoms with the flu virus or if there is a history of allergies.
With the flu,the symptoms are usually severe (high fever, joint pain, muscle pain etc).

Chest and throat pain can occur with coughing because of inflammation of the air passages and muscles.

Treatment: (1) oral and topical decongestants would help with the nasal congestion -
topical - normal saline drops or otrivine drops

Oral- pseudoephedrine or phenyephrine- both of these are available over the counter.
May be combined with other meds used with the cold

(2) a cough suppressant such as dextromethorphan

You can consider looking for a cough syrup that contains a cough suppressant and decongestant

(3) steam inhalation would also help with the congestion

(4)rest and fluids

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
