Brief Answer:
MRI brain would help.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back and providing more details.

Yes, MRI of brain with contrast would help detect sarcoid in the brain. Common symptoms of brain sarcoid include headache, weakness of one side of face, double vision, etc.

Stress and alcohol, both can contribute to your brain problem. If possible, reduce alcohol intake.

Good sleep is a good news.

Best wishes,

Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM (Neurology)

Brief Answer:
Normal MRI Brain would exclude sarcoid

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting.

A normal MRI Brain with contrast would pick up all the signs of sarcoid. So if the MRI brain was normal, it excludes intracranial sarcoid.

What about the report about ct with contrast can this rule out intracrainal sarcoid in the menigines ? How accurate is a MRI with contrast ?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Sudhir Kumar (3 hours later)
Brief Answer:
MRI is more accurate

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

MRI brain with contrast is more accurate. CT scan with contrast may miss the diagnosis of sarcoid.
