default
Posted on Mon, 25 Sep 2017
Question: I started Friday night having violent shivering & then getting hot. Saturday I slept all day with some shivering episodes. Woke up during the night with bed & pajamas soaking wet. Went to urgent care clinic & they did UA & x-rays of chest & abdoman. No UTI & no kidney stones showing on x-rays. There is not much pain but there was blood in urine.

Brief Answer:
How are you feeling at this time?

Detailed Answer:
HI and thanks so much for this query.

Having reviewed your information fully, this sounds more like a kidney stone that has been passed out. If your pains have subsided, complete the ciprofloxacin prescription and monitor only. Always endeavor to drink much water daily as this helps prevent kidney stones. I recommend that you report any future recurrence to me for review and further guidance.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
