Brief Answer:
Give her Acetaminophen for fever and body ache

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mr. XXXXXXX
Welcome to the HCM

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Don't worry as the most common reason for such symptoms in this age group is a self limiting viral illness which improves within 3-5 days with symptomatic treatment.

You may take the following measures to help her out:

1. I would recommend you to give acetaminophen (Crocin or Tylenol) for fever and pains instead of ibugesic. You may repeat the dose after 6-8 hours if required. Do not give medicine for body temperature which is less than 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Ensure a healthy regular feeds and fluids. In case her appetite is reduced, then offer her smaller feeds at more frequent intervals.

3. In case the fever spikes increase or persist with no improvement in pains after 2 days, then laboratory work up for blood and urine infections will be required.

Hopefully this will help you. I would be glad to help you in any further questions.

Take care

Brief Answer:
Avoid Ibugesic in this season

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I recommend my patients to avoid ibugesic in this season because of a rare possibility of dengue fever. Ibugesic can be easily replaced by acetaminophen.

You may give Meftal spas. Also, give her Albendazole (400mg) for worm infestation which are common reason for stomach pains in children.

Take care
