Question: Four days ago I discovered blood in my urine. ran to the ER. They took a CAT SCAN and discovered a small 2x2cm mass in the bladder. The bleeding has not stopped. They gave me CIPRO thinking I had an infection.
Didn't stop the bleeding. What's happening What's the answer to fix the problem? Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Needs to consult qualified Urologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

Bleeding from urethra at this age can be mostly due to mass that you have been detected on C T Scan examination .

However precise nature of the mass can be confirmed only on endoscopic examination of Bladder (Cystoscopy ) and biopsy from the tumor .

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic
tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Endoscopic Examination of Bladder (Cystoscopy) and biopsy
3) Serum PSA.

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

In the mean while continue antibiotic .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
