Brief Answer:
Hematuria from high protime

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

Your husband is on coumadin and his recent protime is elevated to 4.0. This is high and can result in hematuria. This is a very common finding when a person's protime becomes elevated. Before you do anything you may want to contact your medical provider to see what they want to do with the elevated protime. I can't really give you advice on your warfarin dosing because you have a good history with your current provider and they would know your case better and provide you with treatment options.
