Brief Answer:
What is the consistency of your stool?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this blood you have mentioned in your stool. I will like to know if this is blood on the surface of your stools or mixed with your stool. Also, does this happens irrespective of whether the stool is hard or soft? And finally, what is the color of your eyes.

With this information, I will be able to provide more insights and recommendations on the way forward in order to accurately diagnose and manage this problem. I hope to hear from you.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

the blood isn't really on my stool its more mixed with it. it drips out more than anything . other than when I have clay colored pellet stools, in that case its in the pellets and ive noticed my symptoms are much worse in morning after I wake up. and as for my stool consistency it has been more soft and tarry and it does not matter the consistency of my stool I still have same symptoms

Brief Answer:
I will suggest that you see a gastroenterologist!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

At your age, blood mixed with stools is not typical. My advice is that you get this fully investigated and addressed fully. A number of conditions like hemorrhoids, small wound and unlikely an infection may be responsible for these. Examining you and running a few tests would be able to guide us towards getting answers to this.

I want you to get evaluated. Let me know if this is something that you can do.

I will also like that you adopt health promoting behaviors. No smoking, minimal alcohol, healthy diet, fruits and vegetables in your diet daily and regular physical exercise.

I wish you well.

Brief Answer:
There is no harm in waiting!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Feel free to wait. There is no urgency and two weeks is a short time compared to the past 6months. Be relaxed and keep me updated about this.

I hope this helps. I wish you well.
