What Causes Blood In Stool?
Question: 30 year male passing lots of blood. The blood is bright colored and alot of it when he has a bowel movement and even bleeding when he is not having a bowel movement.

for a 30 years old individual the most common cause of bleeding would be hemorrhoids or an anal fissure.
A positive history for early intestinal cancer in a first degree relative before the age of 40 warrants careful investigation for cancer.
An anal fissure usually causes pain during defecation.
Hemorrhoids may cause pain too, if they're external.
Internal hemorrhoids may present with painless bleeding. Sometimes bleeding can be initiated by a bowel movement but it may continue thereafter.
In any case investigation is warranted.
Your first step should be to seek clinical examination by gastroenterologist. If no external source of bleeding is identified, the gastroenterologist can also check your rectum and the rest of your intestine.
