In the presence of both possibility of Urinary tract infection is to be considered. Just Urethritis will not cause Hemospermia. For the bllod to be prsent in the semen, it has come anywhere from vas deferns(tube carrying sperms fro testis) to ejaculatory duct. Its likely that the cause is more likely to be due to inflammation of seminal vesicles(They are located close to where ejaculatory ducts open into urethra). I would suggest you to get the following Investigation done in consultation with your Urologist 1. Urine examination 2. Semen Analysis 3. Ultrasound and colour doppler examination. I hope it helped.
