Brief Answer:
Possibility of trauma.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for posting your query.

Bleeding during intercourse can be due to rough intercourse which causes trauma to the soft parts, local lesions like vaginitis, cervicitis, erosions of the cervix and polyps, that can bleed on touch or due to hormonal changes.

If you have an impending period, you can see some spotting after an intercourse due to hormone release.

To know the exact cause, you should see a specialist and get a complete evaluation. Please maintain genital hygiene. Do not use tampons during a period, use sanitary pads instead.

Hope I have clarified your query. Please feel free to contact for more information. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.
