Brief Answer:
Continue taking both Ecosprin and Acitrem.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir, Hi
Thanks for posting your concern on HCM.

I really appreciate your concern towards the safety and efficacy of Ecosprin with Acitrem together.

I have gone through your problem described in your query and the medications you have been taking in the treatment of Atrial fibrillation.

One of the main complications of atrial fibrillation is clot (thrombus) formation which may get dislodge and get impacted on a distant organ blocking its blood supply and causing necrosis.

Since there is a high risk of thrombus formation in patients who have undergone MVR, so for the prevention of clot (thrombus) formation, a combination of Ecosprin with Acitrem has been found to be more efficacious and beneficial than Acitrem alone.

In order to prevent the bleeding due to Acitrem the INR level should be maintained up to 2.5.

Hope this answers your query.
Wishing you best of your health.
