What Causes Anxiety While On Paroxetine?

Question: have been on Paroxetine 40mg for about 10 years, didn't seem to be working as well, tried something else but didn't help, went back on Paroxetine this time 50mg, worked good for about 3 months now I am having some anxiety, I don't understand what is going on, should my doctor raise the dose again!

I do not think medication dose increase is the only option as you need to identify the cause for flare up of anxiety.

Increasing dose is still the option as the effective dose of paroxetine ranges upto 60 mg and you may be the person with tendency to need higher dose range but this should be second line of options to manage anxiety.

If you can identify stressors in your life managing them should be priority.
