What Causes Allergic Rashes On Butt And Penis Area In Infants?
Question: My 8 year old son has a rash that has started on his butt and penis area going up his stomach now. Can you help me?

I have gone through your query. This is most likely an allergic rash to something he exposed. Does he exposed to some thing unusual recently or bitten by any insect or ants? Does he eat anything unusual? Does he have fever now or prior to rash? Any associated symptoms like breathing difficulty or discomfort in throat.?
As long as it was not associated with fever or fever prior to appearance of rash it can be treated as an allergic rash. Blood routine and platelet count should be done also.
You can apply calamine lotion locally. Antihistamines like Benadryl or cetirizine orally will be helpful also. But if not improving then he might need antihistamine and corticosteroid as injection.
