Brief Answer:
Could be a seizure or irritation - kindly get back

Detailed Answer:
HI..thanks for consulting on health care magic.

It is very unusual for an 8 month old to express anger, at the most they (kids of this age) may cry even if they are irritated, but not angry. This might be his say of showing his irritation or a seizure, but before deciding on this, I have a few questions for you -
1. How is his consciousness during that episode?
2. Does he bite his tongue until the tongue gets hurt?
3. Does he respond to your call during the episode?
4. Does his eye balls role up during the episode?
5. How is his development till now - I mean is he rolling around, trying to sit without support or standing with support etc.?
6. Did he cry immediately after birth?
7. Was he breast fed on the day he was born - if not why?
8. Is there any family history of seizure disorder?
9. Is there any recent fever?

Kindly get back to me as soon as possible with the answers to the above questions. I will take a call on this...

Brief Answer:
Its just a habit - Don't worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX .. Glad with your answers & I have seen the image too. It is 100% not a seizure & your son is doing this type of active onl type of behaviour to be recurring is to avoid giving importance and undue attention to this type of behaviour .The best way to avoid this type of behaviour to be recurring is to avoid giving importance and undue attention to this type of behaviour. If you leave it alone, he will stop doing it in due course of time.
Wish your kid a bright future. Please feel free to ask any questions in future. I did not feel it right to reassure you that it is nothing without proper history and necessary information with me. In this way we can be doubly sure that it is not seizure.

Regards - Dr. Sumanth
