Hi. Fatty liver can not cause this type of pain... You have to consult a Gastroenterologist Doctor for a careful evaluation , examination and investigations as he may suggest. A proper diagnosis is more important for a proper treatment, is not it? What are the other symptoms you have so that I can guess your problem- like nausea, vomiting, loose motions , bloating , fever, urine problem etc

Brief Answer: May be IBS Detailed Answer: Thanks for the follow-up. History noted. All the symptoms of 4 to 5 loose stools per day, burning sensation and bloating and low back-ache of a duration of 1 year and progressive increase in symptoms gives me a feeling that you are suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome( IBS in short). There are many reasons for this disease. I hope by this time you should have received a minimum 5 days course of an antibiotic like Oflox or Cefixime and Metronidazole. If this has not really helped you makes IBS as one of the most probably diagnosis. If not yet taken - it is advisable to undergo a course as suggested. I hope you have undergone other tests of blood - routine and sugar, urea etc and urine and stool. If not - please get them done. A consultation with a Gastro Doctor helps in direct examination of abdomen as many diseases which could not be picked up on Sonography can be felt by hand such as a ill defined lump, any bowel sounds by stethoscope and so on. A there s no sickens or nausea I can safely rule out intestinal obstruction. So please go ahead as directed and get well soon. Few diseases need a long treatment and change of food, beverages , lifestyle . Anything which increases your problem must be avoided is a rule in such conditions.

My doctor has prescribed me melbrelieve (think thsts qhat there called) to relax my bowel muscles but they dont seem to be working. Ive also had physical abdominal examinations off numerous doctors and all have said it seems clear. Ive had 2 full blood count tests in the last 4 months which all showed up clear. Ive had a abdominal ultrasound and a kidney ultrasound which again showed clear. A cardiolagist has said my heart is fine and discharged me. I found blood on my stool so yhe doctor perfomed a physical anus examination and said he felt a hemoroid... I think the doctors are running out of answers and i dont know where to turn now. Its starting to make me feel depressed

Brief Answer: Course of medicine and measures Detailed Answer: Hi, Yes, your are given one of the correct medicine- it is called mebeverine... This tablet has to be taken 3 times a day on empty stomach exactly at 8 hourly intervals for them to be effective. I would advise you some treatment and please see if it possible to get these. ( some medicines require prescription). A 5 day course of tablet cefixime 200 mg twice daily + Metronidazole 400 mg thrice daily. A single tablet of Fluconazole 150 + probiotic and pre-biotics in appropriate dose - twice daily. Please let me know the results. You may please continue with Mebeverin 8 hourly doses and probiotics. Strictly no foods and beverages which increase your problem. You have to reduce your stress level- you only can know the best way.... I hope this will surely help you. If all these measures do not help you for a complete cure I would advise further investigations::: Colonoscopy and an Enteroclysis ( this is done by a radiologist)

Brief Answer: Complete the course as directed Detailed Answer: Your question: '' So what could make me keep feeling like i need tp be sick?'' - could not really get the meaning , but as I could decipher - There is no specific feeling you need to be sick. There can be varies symptoms at a given time. It is good that you do not have stomach pains. with the proper treatment you would get better with the feeling of tightness in the chest, back-pain and nausea. You are taking a full dinner so do not worry about loss of appetite. Just continue the treatment as already described and you will be fine. If still a problem after the course you may please undergo the investigations I have suggested.
