Brief Answer:
corpus luteal cyst

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Abdominal pain before periods is quite common but as you are having it for the first time and that too at the age of 28 years it needs further evaluation.
In my opinion wait for your periods to come and see for the flow and duration of periods.
If everything is fine then there is nothing to worry and we can infer that it must have been due to corpus luteal cyst which is very common and won't bother you again.
But in case you bleed more or get delayed periods then get a transvaginal ultrasound and see for ovarian health and endometrial thickness.
Once you get that done you can upload the report and we can discuss it further.
I hope I have answered your question but in case you have any other query I will be happy to help.

Brief Answer:
hot fomentation

Detailed Answer:
Same management applies to your sister aged 24 years.
She can have hot bottle fomentation thrice a day and along it take ibuprofen tablet whenever she has bothersome pain abdomen to a maximum of three tablets a day.
And avoid any jumping activity or exercise or jogging because more that area will move more will be the pain.
Simple walking will not worsen it.
Wish her the best of health.
