Question: I'm 36 year old male and have had a throbbing pulse in the left side of my neck for the past 24hrs. It comes and goes every 30seconds to 5 minutes and lasts only a second or two. It's concerning me. Called cardiologist office and they can't see me for six weeks. Thoughts?

Brief Answer:
Check the pulse and measur blood pressure

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

I would advise you to check your pulse and measure blood pressure. If pulse is regular and normal and blood pressure is normal, then everything is ok and you shouldn't worry and wait until your appointment.
If there is some abnormality I would advise you to refer to ER.

Hope I could help you

Wishing you good health
