Brief Answer:
Seems to be otomycosis.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having discomfort in ear. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any discharge or itching or pain in ear ?
Are you diabetic ?

Kindly get back to me with the details.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be fungal infection (otomycosis, common in diabetics) or ear canal infection secondary to urticaria or dermatitis.

I suggest you to to re-consult ent surgeon and get get detailed ent examination and otoscopy (status of ear drum). If necessary secretions for culture and sensitivity (history of two months). Depending on the examination reports further treatment is required accordingly.

Mean time, do not put water (plug them with dry cotton), avoid freezer products (cold drinks/ice cream/curd), do not attempt self cleaning with buds, pins and fingers.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

Dear Doctor,
I am not diabetic. Also no discharge from the ear/pain/itching. My doctor had inspected my ear using his light beam. No creature or cotton piece(because I do have the habbit of keeping cotton in the ears during travel) has been found by him. I had consulted twice and since the last 2 months I am applying the moisture cream prescribed by him, using ear-bud. H had said my ears are dry. But.....still....sometimes suddenly I feel something moving inside.

Brief Answer:
audiometry.

Detailed Answer:

Hello again,

Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.

It could be Sensorineural hearing loss (age related deafness, occurs due to hearing nerve degeneration after 50 years, which can give ear discomfort).

I suggest you to undergo audiometry to know the status of middle ear and inner ear. Kindly go ahead.

Hope, I have answered your query.

Take care.
