Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for your question on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that there are several reasons why the heart rate may be increased at certain moments or periods of time.
Generally, invasive diagnostic, as well as endoscopic procedures are commonly associated with elevated levels of stress and anxiety. This may explain at least partly your increased heart rate.
Other reasons of the fast heart rate are anemia, increased thyroid gland function, fever, presence of systemic inflammation, electrolyte imbalance, heart failure, as well as certain cardiac rhythm disorders.

To exclude these causes some additional tests should be done: resting ECG, complete blood court, PCR, thyroid hormone levels, blood electrolytets level, and a careful physical exam.
Hope to have been helpful to you! Greetings! Dr. Iliri
