Brief Answer:
Can be apthous ulcer

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for writing in.

As per your symptom, it can be an apthous ulcer which has occurred due to any of the following reasons:
- vitamin B12 deficiency
- gastric problem
- thermal injury
- tongue bite
- faulty restoration
- syphilis
- can be premalignant lesion also.

You may take multivitamins with folic acid for better and faster healing. Also apply any topical anaesthetic gel such as mucogel to get rid of pain in that ulcer.
You need to drink juices and eat fresh fruits for vitamin deficiency.
If it doesn't heal by 3 weeks then consult your dentist and get biopsy done.

Hope I answered your query

Wishing you good health

Kind regards
