What Causes A Recurring Bump On Forehead?

default
Posted on Fri, 4 Jul 2014
Question: I get a bump on my forehead once a month in the exact same spot. Its the size of a dime. It looks like a blemish but only clear liquid comes out of it. The clear liquid will come out of multiple pores that are all inflamed together. What could this possibly be?

Brief Answer:
Hydrocortisone cream, fusidic acid cream

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thank you for posting on HCM.
From keen observation of your picture and clinical history, it seems you have got little inflammation and erythema over forehead due to trauma.
Nothing to worry as its pretty amenable to treatment.
I would suggest you to apply hydrocortisone cream and antibiotic cream like fusidic acid mixed together and applied twice a day over affected areas.
Additionally, cold sponging will provide some soothing effect.
Avoid pricking and scratching of lesions as it can cause secondary infection.
I am sure in few days your condition will be fine.
Let me know if you need any further assistance from my side.

Is it strange that it comes back in the same place about once a month? It's not a one time thing
