What Causes A Failure In The Random DOT Drug Urine Test?
Question: I took a random dot drug test for my employment,the test cup did not register any temp ,so they poured the sample into another cup still no temp,icouldnt stay to drink water,for I had other oblications and had to leave,what happens now ? MY JOB OF TEN YRS IS ON THE LINE HERE.ANY INPUT WOULD BE APPRIECIATED.

You are concerned about having a DOT drug urine test and the urine test was thrown out because of not registering a proper temp. To the examiner this looks like the sample was not a recent voided sample. The employer may request that you have another done but that is up to your employer. The actual physical DOT has nothing to do with the drug testing, That is managed by your employer.
I am a certified DOT examiner and we do not do drug screening for the actual physical. All drug testing is done by your employer so you will need to talk to them about getting retested. Next sample you give I would recommend having the lab tech accompany you into the bathroom while you give the sample and have them document the sample as fresh.
