Capillary leak is usually caused by infection either viral or bacterial. Leaky capillaries are also found in smokers and elderly individuals.
There is no treatment for capillary leaks except one has to be very careful to prevent trauma. Even a minute trauma like a small bump can lead to blood accumulation below the skin
