What Causes A Bruise On The Head Of The Penis?
Question: When I squeeze my penis head gently it feels bruised. I am circumcised.
I am not really feeling any pain during the day apart from a very slight pain which feels like a bruising rather than a burning sensation.
It very slightly hurts when I urinate. I've had the pain a few days and it's got no worse.
I see no swelling or redness on the outside or on the tip of my penis. The pain seems to be coming from about 0.5cm inside the head. It feels more uncomfortable when I'm sitting down and there is pressure on it.

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have pain in terminal part of urethra .
This could be mostly due to inflammation of terminal part of Urethra (Urethritis)
Take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime and anti inflammatory medication like Diclofenac twice daily along with local anesthetic jelly like Xylocaine jelly for application inside the meatus.
Ensure to wash your genitals twice daily .
Ensure to avoid sexual activities till it heals up completely.
This will get cured within a week.

Hi there, I have just noticed a VERY small (1mm) mark on the underside of the shaft of my penis. It doesn't really hurt unless I press it really hard. When I stretch the skin it does appear to be raised a little in that area - it almost looks like it's over a vein. I have visited my doctor last week because I was having some discomfort in the head of my penis but this has all but gone. He did a urine test and nothing was reported back. I am circumsized.
