What Causes A Boil On The Thigh?

Question: I thought what I had on my thigh was ringworm, but there is a sore with a tiny, sensitive pin like protrusion in the middle. I've tried lotrimin and undecyclenic acid and fluocinolone cream. I've had planters wart before, and ringworm as a child

Seems to be folliculitis

Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photograph though it's not very clear.
It seems as if this sore area correspond to folliculitis which is inflammation of the hair follicle.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply topical antibiotic like mupirocin cream or neosporin ointment on the affected area twice daily for 5-7 days.
This should resolve it.
