Brief Answer:
it indicates infection.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX, welcome to HCM and thanks for choosing us.

White blood cells in urine indicate infection in urinary tract. It could be in urethra, prostate, bladder, ureters or even in kidneys. So it becomes a reason for failure in medical examination. However it is mostly a temporary condition, which improves with a course of antibiotics unless there is some structural abnormalities (which is less likely at this age).

It could be a contaminated urine sample too, if not collected with proper care.

I would advise you to discuss about possibilities of infection with your current doctor. If the doctor agrees, you might get investigated further to know the cause behind this infection. You will need to get urine culture, ultrasound scan done to come to a diagnosis. A retesting is also advised.

Once cause is identified and treatment taken, you will be medically fit again.

I hope my reply will help you. Please write to us for more information and any follow up question. I wish you good health.
