I am on the following medicines--donepezil 10mg, lasik 40mg, lunesta 2 mg, omeprazole 40 mg, metformin 500mg 3 times a day, namenda 10mg 2 times a day diclofen pot 50 mg 2 times a day, aspirin 325 mg 1 time a day
I do have diabetes and take metformin for it, another medicine I take is lamotrigine for depression and topamax 100mg 1 a day for seizure. The doctor took blood test but I do not have them this was done to rule out thyroid, cancer and things like that. The scabies cream that he had me use since I had been in a long term care facility helped but sometimes my skin feels like something is crawling on it, but nothing is there and no rash or bites. I am retired so have no working hours, just do what ever or whenever. Thank you

Brief Answer:
Diabetic neuropathy

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Your condition and reports suggest itch may be because of peripheral neuropathy, because of diabetes.
I, in my patients would have added antioxidants , Vitamins like B complex , methylcobalamin, and may be pregabalin for few days.
Please consult your doctor and you can give reference of our conversation as well.
In my opinion scabies treatment is not going to help you.
Hope you have answer to your query, if any more ,please go ahead, or you can close the question and rate the answer.
Good Day.

Should I get the Vitam B complex, the methylcobalamin and the pregablin for a few days or just one of them? Would the peripheral neurophathy cause the crawling sensation all over me as that is what I have not just on my legs, sometimes it is on my back or under my breasts and around my genitals?

Thank you

Brief Answer:
B complex surely

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Yes, in advance stage it does cause pins and needles or itching, all over body. But for specific locations , like under breast and genitals if there are associated other locals like fungus , it has to be seen.
Another thing , you can have Vitamin B complex and methylcobalmin any where, but for pregabalin or gabapentin you need to consult your doctor because of your other associated conditions and over and above its a prescription drug, you just can not get it.
B complex and methylcobalmin you can start from today it self.
I will also suggested you to consult your doctor ,that you may be allergic any of your medicines.
Hope and wish all these suggestions work, and you get rid of your long standing problems.
If any more query you are most welcome or you can close the question by rating the answer.
Good Luck

I got the B complex today but if I understand previous answer I will have to see my primary doctor about the Met-Neurobion or any of the combinations of the drugs that you mentioned as they are not available over the counter like the B complex vitamens are? Should I just talk to him about this medicine as it might be a fungus? I had been in a long term care facility and now live in a retirement independent facility but think one of the residents had some problems with some bugs and you know when those get into a building, they just spread and hard to get rid of them, no matter what you do, so afraid that is what is going on. I appreciate all your help. Thank you again.
