Brief Answer:
Take both medicines.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query at HCM.
I understand your concern and situation.

Yes PCOD cyst can rupture in some cases causing extreme pain which is the most salient of them. The stabbing, searing pain will be centralized in the mid-abdomen, but this pain can and will be transmitted to adjacent body structures such as your pelvis and your lower back. If anyone gets it rupture then they land up in extreme conditions in minutes and not hours. They won't be even able to write a query. If you ever experience such pain then visit the emergency health services. Normally USG can also show the rupture of normal follicles that mature every month in PCPD. This is normal graffian follicles. Nothing to worry as appears in your case as cyst do not rupture to give you extra.
Your second question I would tell you that you can take both as constituent are different. Compared with cyanocobalamin, it appears that methylcobalamin is better absorbed and retained in higher amounts within your tissues. Take methycobalamine seperately it is good for nerves especially post surgery. Homochek contains folic acid, cyanocobalamine and pyridoxine better for patients with ATT. Continue ATT.

Best of health dear.

Thanks for your query

For how long nuroday ,darolac, and serriatoleptidase can be taken

I started art in april with akt 4 my weight was 69 at that time.my. diagnosis was a bit confusing as every doc thought the pain thy I had in abdomen was due to recovery of c sec then in Feb one ofradiologist found on USG that there was a hypoechoic track of 27mm thy was due to pelvic tb.now on akt 3..is that a right approch for treating pelvic Tb

Also what can be done of precaution for pcodso that the cyst
Do not get rupture.can meprate be repeated again earlier took for 10 mg od for 10 days

Also I want to know how to find mdr Tb apart from biopsy sinec I don't want any invasive procedure anymore.also I have some skin red lesions on my stomach .if they are strech marks do they remain red even after 9 months..or how to find if I have some skin staph infection..enclosing my reports and history in monthwise order
Pls detail what can be done..pls guide

Brief Answer:
See detailed answer.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
1.Yes I understand your condition. Yes sometimes pelvic pain are confusing but if TB was found then after 2-3 months of 4 drugs in AKT4 you should be switched on to 2-3 drugs for another 6-8 months. Yes your doctor has been treating you correctly. You can take darolac for another 2-3 months and nuroday till your complete treatment. Yes serratiopeptidase also you can take for 2-3 months more.
2.As for your cyst rupture prevention is concerned you can visit a gynaecologist who may recommend treatment to shrink or remove the cyst. Sometimes cyst go on their own. So a follow up USG is needed. You must observe following symptoms and if any found go to the gynaecologist such as changes in your menstrual cycle, ongoing pelvic pain, loss of appetite, unexplained weight loss and abdominal fullness.
3.No need to repeat meprate again or you may consult with your treating physician.
4. Now coming to mdr TB diagnosis. You need to have a sample for confirmation. Even biopsy can do. You can get tissue collected and tested for ZN for culture and sensitivity done. You can take specialized tests such as Hains test for mdr detection. But no test can be done from blood. You need actual sample.
5. For your lesion on stomach you can get skin scrapping and test done for gram staining and culture sensitivity for bacterial infections and kOH mount for fungal elements. Sensitivity will tell if MRSA. If you are a carrier of resistant strains then your nasal swab can also be detected similarly. After test apply a triple action cream.

Hope I answered your query.

Someone told me that akt 4 is not effective in 65 kgs above weight .is that so

Pls detail about this nasal swab test ?why is this prescribed for

Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Hope you doing good.

Yes if your weight is above 65 kg then I would not suggest you AKT4 as the dose of rifampicin is 450 whereas I would suggest 600 mg for you but rest medicines are in proper dose. So taking AKT 4 there is a chance of resistance. So I would suggest you to take the medicines separately and not fixed dose combination AKT4.
Second query the people who have risk of infection of MRSA are frequently carriers of MRSA in nasal cavity. So check for bacterial by swab is beneficial to rule out infection and get treatment and avoid complications at other body sites. You just need to take swab from nasal cavity and your lesion and get tested for gram staining and culture sensitivity for aerobic and anaerobic bacteria.

Take care

Brief Answer:
See detailed answer.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Yes I went through your reports. Everything is normal. Liver enzymes are not considered threat unless elevated three times. But yes on the higher side so it's okay to take AKT4. But get your liver enzymes test repeated once more.
As you told there is no pus then it is difficult to take the test for MRSA or Tuberculosis. To diagnose both these infections one has to collect swab from lesion. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection is caused by a strain of staph bacteriaI suggest you to be on observation. Kindly send a photograph of marks for better evaluation. It is possible that they are not infective and just stretch marks. No do not apply Sumag. You can apply creams, lotions, and I would recommend for regular diet and exercise. Natural stretch mark removal products, such as Striae Stretch Mark Removal cream. You can also visit a dermatologist for evaluation.

Hope I answered your query.

If it is skin Tb or mrsa what should I do

Answered by Dr. Sheetal Verma (2 hours later)

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I saw the pics but it appears nothing like MRSA or TB. Do not worry. It is only stretch marks. I advise you to moisturize your skin. Lead a healthy lifestyle, take multivitamins and multimineral supplement. Consult a dermatologist for derma-rolling and laser surgery.

No worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
1.According to the USG your liver is completely normal and do not worry. Take Liver supplement like liv 52.
2.Sorry i won't be able to comment upon ayurvedic or homeopathic medicines
3.As far as your stretch marks are concerned nothing to worry as far as there is no pain. The color will eventually fade out. Just apply ointment like mederma.

Take care
