Brief Answer:
Avoid regular aspirin if gastritis present.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for asking.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. You can continue with Truvia and Stevia. It would not cause a problem.

2. Check your regular aspirin dosage. Avoid taking more than 325 mg/day. If excessively taken, can cause gastritis. Never stop taking it, unless you are on other anti-platelet agents like clopidogrel. Rebound complications can occur. Do not take aspirin on an empty stomach.

3. Recurrent TIA episodes suggest a possibility of impending stroke. If repeated, you need to get a doppler ultrasound of carotid blood vessels or angiography to look for any stenosis or atherosclerotic plaque in the blood vessels distal to carotid artery.

4. Discontinuation of diet coke is good as it could increase risk of gastritis. Eat well and maintain a nutritional diet.

Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
