Brief Answer: Depends on the site of tuberculosis. Detailed Answer: Hi Mrs XXXXXXX hope you are in good health. TB effects all organs in the body and the symptoms vary with the organ effected. Generally the source or port of entry is lung, and hence lung dis is more common. For your understanding, i am describing only common things. LUNG TB: fever, cough, weight loss, anorexia, blood in sputum while coughing, night sweats, breathlessness. BRAIN TB (TB MENINGITIS): headache, vomitings, drousinesss, seizures BONE TB: bone pain (backache), swelling over pain area, fever TB ABDOMEN: pain abdomen, vomitings, fever, diarrhea, significant weight loss, pain on eating, perfortion of bowel etc. There are many other organs involved like JOINTS (Tubercular Arthritis), EYE, ADRENALS, KIDNEYS, BLADDER, LARYNX, MIDDLE EAR, LYMPHNODES, HEART AND LING LAYERS etc, each having different presentation. Hope this helped. YOU MAY POST FURTHER QUERIES IF YOU WANT.
