Brief Answer:
Symptoms are due to Tenesmus

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Sir

Going by description of your symptoms it is Tenesmus ( Having the urge to pass stools immediately but nothing much comes out ). It usually occurs due to inflammation of Rectum known as Proctitis.

I would suggest you the following

1. Ensure adequate intake of water

2. High fiber diet : 2 servings of vegetable salad and 2 servings of fruits especially citrus fruit will ensure adequate intake of fiber in diet. Fiber is very beneficial in management of Proctitis

3. Antibiotics like Metronidazole which is over the counter medication will be helpful if taken for 7 days.

4. Antispasmodic like Drotavarin will help relieve pain

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care
