What Are The Symptoms Of Pregnancy?

Question: hi sir , my wife has some symptoms of pregnancy ,which are cramping ,sore breast, tiredness, bloating and some white creamy discharge but on his expected date(24march2014) of she has some light blood (spotting), and after that they become havier on (25march2014). so is she pregnant ?

Brief Answer: ....... Detailed Answer: Hi there. Thanks for writing in... Sore breasts, abdominal cramps , fatigue, bloating all could be signs of premenstrual symptoms. So it is quite likely it could be periods also. When did she have intercourse? Was it close to the ovulation day? Was the bleeding (on the expected day of periods) for just 2 days....or was it just spotting? How were her previous menstrual cycles? For how many days does she usually bleed? Brief Answer: .... Detailed Answer: There are 2 possibilities.... Either this was her Periods; as before periods, some ladies experience premenstrual symptoms like cramps, sore breasts , bloating etc. Or This could be Pregnancy with the spotting being implantation bleeding . I would advise her to get a urine pregnancy test done. If negative, do a blood test for beta hcg & USG lower abdomen to confirm or exclude intrauterine pregnancy . Hope this answer was helpful. implantation bleeding could be heavier as like periods .

Brief Answer: .... Detailed Answer: Implantation bleeding is generally like spotting or light bleeding with either pink/ brown discharge. Implantation bleeding is not heavier as in periods. Generally implantation bleeding lasts for few hours . In some cases upto 1 or 2 days. Do the urine pregnancy test as I mentioned in the previous mail. Hope this helps.
